All the ingredients of our flavored matés are carefully selected in France. Our matés are packaged in ESATs in the Paris region, thus supporting the professional reintegration of people with disabilities.
Certified by ECOCERT, all our mate teas are organically grown, cultivated in agroforests in southern Brazil.
Since 2021, all our mate products have been Fair for Life certified, one of the highest standards of fair trade certification. La Bombilla is one of the only mate brands in Europe to have achieved this certification.

In recent years, various studies conducted by scientists in Argentina and Brazil have shown that traditional drying methods for yerba mate (where the leaves are dried over a wood fire and in direct contact with smoke) could be harmful.
For this reason, we have opted for a different drying process for our mate: air drying, without smoke. Dry air drying also has the advantage of softening the taste of the mate.
